torn, shredded and split assunder
my heart and soul in the dark blunder
wishing only happiness for both
i know i could wash clean some of your hurts
and heal those holes that darken your thoughts
yet i cannot
not given the chance
not given the choice
i seek my leave
i don't even know how
i'll find a way
to stop thinking of you at night
at least, if not in the day

i love you for all you are
and have been
and could be
you are beautiful in your whole to me
everything
even those things i've seen that are not so pretty
and those that you hide inside
i would that you show me
i could love no less
but only more...

i don't know how to hide my pain
so i act indifferently
as if your importance is miniscule
when quite the opposite is true.

but this i guess is after all not meant to be
strange...i really thought it was
but ends this play..to no applause.
