Not like the stream does the stone,
Slowly taking pieces away
Nor like the ice does the mountains
Cutting through cold

Like the Earth does diamonds
Pressing you with stress
And pain and those hushed word things
Of what was done to you.
I saw your eyes as you told those stories.

I could feel the weight of the memories you carry…

Providing
For others
(That only have you to rely on) .
Trying
To make it.

Are a diamond
I can see your soul
Sparkling in the light of life,
And
Thou you are hard
Thou you are sharp
Thou you cut…

You can also carry,
You can also sustain
The weight that you bare.

You will NOT break.

You will NOT crumble.

You are beautiful.

You are strong.

You are desired.
