My Unfading Rose,
Heal my heart
To love the least deserving,
To feed a wailing child,
Clothe the naked,
Shelter from the storms;
No easy task,
It seems suffering abounding
More than eternal life.

O my Unfading Rose
Let me drink from your fountain,
As the sun rises on Sunday mornings;
Worshiping you alone,
A type of Him,
Bleeding from the side.
