Buxton Shippy - Eternal Hope

Bewildered and devoured
by a sea of circumstances.
My mind throttled,
braced today
dread tomorrow.
Every breath of joy,
of hope, of peace,
misplaced or erased.

So I besought Him:
Glorious Redeemer,
King of Kings,
Lord of Lords,
who cares,
who builds up,
who carries me
on his wings of glory
making me victorious
over the Prince Of Despair.
