Business group call for some limits on manufacturing plan

Australia's big business lobby wants limits placed on local manufacturing projects the Albanese government decides to subsidise with taxpayer money. The Prime Minister has flagged new laws and funding in next month's budget to attract investment for clean energy and high-tech products, joining a global race competing for those industries. But the head of the business council of Australia Bran Black says the prime minister needs to find projects that would benefit from taxpayer funds without completely relying on them.
