Busan gaining popularity among foreign tourists

Busan is rising as a new tourist hot spot this summer.
According to travel search site Skyscanner, the number of searches for a round-trip ticket to South Korea from July to August increased 63 percent on-year.
The nation's second largest city saw its tally rise by a whopping 87 percent on-year, followed by Daegu with 70 percent and Jeju Island with 69 percent.
Gimhae International Airport, which serves the port city, also saw ercord numbers: more than 85 million passengers in the first half of the year.
