Bus mishap kills 2 in Isabela

Two passengers died after a bus hit a waiting shed in Brgy. Diamantina in Cabatuan, Isabela Sunday morning. According to Cabatuan Police station Chief Jil Daep, the Ballesteros Bus Liner Corp. bus, bound for Apayao, swerved to avoid a motorcycle, causing it to hit a waiting shed near a gas station. The conductor of the bus, identified as Ralph Quismundo, as well as another unidentified woman, died in the crash. Four passengers of the bus were severely wounded. The driver of the motorcycle, identified as Sonny Sunga, also sustained wounds. - Umagang Kay Ganda, 30 December 2013
