Burger King Customer Slaps Employee After Angry Rant

PENNSYLVANIA, U.S. — A Burger King customer has been charged for slapping an employee of the fast-food chain after he was informed he was being filmed.

A video posted to Twitter on August 3 — which has gained 4.4 million views to date — captures the moment a customer, now identified as 21-year-old Austin Addison, slaps an employee before storming out.

The incident occurred after Addison entered the restaurant enraged and looked for an employee that he knew; that's according to one witness who spoke with TMZ.

In the video which transpired in Pennsylvania, the man can be heard shouting about an employee who, 'can't count except for robbery and stealing stuff' which has led netizens to believe the attack was racially motivated, however, witnesses claim it didn't appear to be.

Addison demanded that the woman in question came to the front of the store before he had her thrown in jail for the rest of her life.

Austin Addison has since been charged with harassment, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief.

It was reported Addison was fired from his job at Harbor Freight Tools after the incident came to light, however, a company rep has since stated that he was no longer an employee there at the time of the incident.
