ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan on Tuesday termed a top-level moot of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s leaders in London as a plan to save embattled Nawaz Sharif from possible punishment in graft cases.
He claimed the former prime minister was desperate for the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) to avoid conviction on charges of corruption and money laundering.
Khan said in a tweet, “London Game Plan obvious now: Nawaz will retain control of Party & use it to malign NAB, Judiciary & mly [military] to pressure them for another NRO.”
