MANDI BAHAUDDIN: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah has said that Qatari prince didn’t even remember that his forefathers had done any business with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, ARY News reported on Thursday.

He was speaking to media in Mandi Bahauddin.

The opposition leader said that Supreme Court (SC) can summon the Qatari prince and question him over the letter presented by the counsel of Maryam Nawaz in the hearing of Panamagate Case.

Maryam Nawaz, in the hearing of the case on 15th November 2016, presented a letter by Qatari prince, dated November 5, 2016, claiming no money was sent abroad.

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader stated that the party has tried to table a resolution against corruption in the Parliament.

He accused the federal government of undermining provinces and not taking the opposition parties on board on the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Criticizing PM Nawaz Sharif over appointing Justice (retd.) Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui as Governor of Sindh, Shah stated that the prime minister “did not have a look at the candidate” before appointing him.

He also said that Indian violations of Pakistani border is the weakness of the country.

Khursheed Shah also announced that the PPP will launch a reorganization drive in Punjab in the start of December.
