RFID communicates to the system the recipe assigned to each tote. The secondary ingredient batching station consist of four bulk bag unloaders, each with integrated material conditioning to ensure accurate material supply. The automated, RFID-driven bulk bag unloaders and the new equipment construction enabled the producer to pursue new markets where cGMP-adherent processes are required.
