Building collapse kills driver in central London

A woman dies in central London late Friday after part of a building collapses on the car she was driving.

Police cordoned off the scene, opposite the Holborn underground station.

Gales of up to 80 miles or 129 kilometers per hour lashed southern England and Wales overnight.

Authorities say Friday's weather is likely to be the last of the series of violent storms that have crossed the country in recent weeks, with the weather expected to improve through the weekend.
