Budget 2023: Fiscal deficit decrease to 5.5%

Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz announced on Friday (Oct 7) during the tabling of Budget 2023 that with an expected revenue collection of RM272.6bil, 2023’s fiscal deficit is projected to decrease to 5.5% of GDP compared to 5.8% in 2022.
