Budget 2021: Education receives biggest allocation

In tabling Budget 2021 on Friday, Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz told the Dewan Rakyat that a total of RM50.4 billion will be given to the education sector.
He said this is the biggest allocation of the budget, aiming to provide supplementary food programme for students, upgrade dilapidated schools and improve welfare of students, facilities and infrastructure at public universities, among others.
