Brunei Sultan can 'do no wrong' under new hudud law
Description
Dr Ahmad Farouk Musa told a forum on hudud in Kuala Lumpur today that the reason why the Sultan of Brunei can implement hudud is because he is not subject to the Islamic law.
The Director of the Islamic Renaissance Front says that according to Article 8 of Brunei's hudud law, the Sultan can do no wrong in either his personal or official capacity.
