Bruce Willis: John McClane "is my hero"

Bruce Willis says he deeply admires John McClane, the Die Hard character that he is synonymous with:
"He is my hero. I like that first film. I like the first Die Hard and all the other Die Hards since have just been trying to get close to that first film but we're going to give it another shot next year and see how it goes."
Die Hard 5 is currently in production.
Meanwhile Bruce, 55, has been in the UK promoting his new movie Red, which co-stars Dame Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman and John Malkovich.
The film is an an action-comedy about a group of retired spies who join forces again for one last mission. The screenplay is based on the comic book series of the same name.
Red is out in cinemas on October 22.
