Bruce Horaz - The Past

The past is but a pile of ashes I am told
By those who are in the know.
But yet, I'm haunted by those fearful memories
Would everything I've done up to now be snatched away at the last,
Like some fearful storm that smashes everything in sight
I've tried to do what is right but, only Jesus knows
If what I've done will last in time.
Because in the end, only our Savior can see
Across the endless barrier of time.
