Brooke Peterson - Day & Night

All day long, not a word-
but at night, I'm beginning to learn...
When I push you away in the light-
the closer you come in the night.

So during the day I do what's right-
just to fear, what happens at night.
During the day to stay clear,
so at night, I hold you near.

When I'm awake, I can control,
with my eyes open, I know it all.
But it's when my eyes close it seems-
your always there, to haunt my dreams.

All night long, so real to me,
all night long, it has to be.
That's the only time we get...
So in the light- there's no regret.
