Broken Wii repaired by swapping dvd drive

Please subscribe to our videos , this is a video of a DVD drive mechanism being swapped out from a defective Wii, and replaced with one in known working order. My son helped with ther video, so please ignore the not-so-smooth camera work.
Our Wii failed, and was getitng all kinds of Wii errors, disk read error, retry errors etc.. and after spending time on the web , I figured it was the dvd drive assembly. I was planning on buying a new wii, but was not sure about transferring all the game data, so I decided to go with this method....but I had an alterior motive...I wanted a Wii in the bedroom so I could get netflix, and this was the perfect answer,,,I hope you like the video, please comment, and give us a nice Thumbs up ...
