Broken Hearts - Tired

I can't sleep again
It has been two days now
Or was it three days
and two nights
It doesn't really matter
I just refuse to take those damn pills
Everyday more dependant
Everyday less caring
Standing in formation
Legs shaking
Like a rubber band stretched to far
Fire burning in my muscles
I am so tired
My eyes burn
My eyes close, but I twitch
Twitch too much to sleep
I feel sick
Take some more pills
I took the sleeping ones last night
Still awake
Time to take the 'be good' pills
Who cares if they keep you awake
Its time to take them
You have to take them
I want to sleep
No more thoughts
Not even sleep
I just want to shut down
To have my body just stop
And take a breath
From this marathon life
Too much going on
Not enough sleep
I'm so tired
I just want to sleep
