Brock Turner Sexual Assault Case Explained
Description
Sex offender Brock Turner had his appeal for a new trial rejected and his current convictions of sexual assault and attempted rape have been upheld. The former star swimmer was originally arrested in 2015 after two students witnessed him assaulting an unconscious woman behind a dumpster at a Stanford University fraternity house party. The new ruling means that the 22-year-old will remain on the sex-offenders register.
