I want to scream,
to leave,
but I can't.
I'm a coward.
I could never find my way back home.

I used to love you so much.
The hope kept me here.
There's not a word in the world to describe my fear.

I don't want you to find me,
but I'll never run.
I miss my life,
the warm, devouring sun...

I miss the haze,
that lied across your face.
I was weak, you put me in my place.

I've had enough....
I need another dose.

I need to breathe smoke,
I need your scent,
I need to be reminded of the warm,
mid-western air.
I'll find my own way there.
