Bristol boat fire

Robert Boyd-Stevenson, 46, set fire to a boat yard in Bristol at the Underfall boat yard in May 2023. He got into the site near Cumberland Road. Emergency services were called just after midnight on Saturday May 5, with more than 20 people who lived near the boat yard evacuated due to the smoke.
The fire spread quickly, with small buildings and businesses damaged, as well as two privately-owned boats. It is believed that the damage done may cost millions to repair, as well as taking several years to complete.
