If we never met...I would know it.

If we never met...the sun would lose its
warmth and the moon would lose
it glow.

If we never met...the words of love I feel
and write, would never be spoken or
never be written.

If we never met...who would I share my
tomorrows with and speak of dreams
that might come true.

If we never met...there would be an empty place
within me that long for one who was missing
in my life.

If we never met...the music of life would have
no joy and the rose and the flowers of the
world would rarely bloom.

If we never met...the robin in the tree would
never sing and the kitten on the couch
would never purr.

If we never met...the world...would be a lonely place
and I would no longer want...
to be a part of the human race.

If we never met...I would know it...
