Bridging the Gap Universal Final

The video series featured is based on the book "Bridging the Gap: A Young People's Guide to Living in Japan", written by Kakehashi in partnership with The Sasakawa Peace Foundation, which was awarded the Best Non-Fiction/Guide Book in the Print Journalism category for the 2021 Migration Advocacy and Media Awards conferred by the Commission on Filipinos Overseas.

The book provides practical guidance intended to assist young Filipino-Japanese migrants in confronting challenges related to personal identity and social integration. These challenges are exemplified through the recounting of real-life stories of individuals who have successfully overcome them.
