I wish you would call in the morning
To show you are thinking of me
I wish you would stop by my work
If only five minutes each other we'd see
I wish you'd come over to play games
Intimate we always needn't be
I wish you knew the right words to say
To show me how you feel
I wish you'd pull me in close when we kiss
To prove this love is real
I wish you would let me in, open up
Your secrets I'd conceal
I wish you would take me to the beach
Hand in hand we'd walk in the night
I wish you would comfort my insecurities
Let me know that everything's alright
I wish you'd grab my hand when I am scared
Make my fears disappear as you hold on tight
I wish you'd do these little things that mean so much
I know there are others, these things they would do
But all of this, wouldn't mean anything
Unless it were being done by you
