Brian Richardson - Beautiful Obsession

Running around in the August heat,
Nothing but green grass beneath my feet.
Between the lines marked by fives,
Only the strongest survives.

With Him watching from above,
I endlessly play the game I love.
He is where I get my power,
Pouring down like a rain shower.

Victory is the only way,
No other reason to play.
My only confession,
It is my beautiful obsession.
