The feelings I once had are no more
In fact those feelings never really were
Making the pits seem so good
Covering my pain, sorrow, and hurt
For the people who don’t believe
That love is a true thing
Tangible these feelings are
Shining out like the stars
All these things everyone sees
But when told, they all flee
Fearful of hurt and what might be
Or of what might become
Of this relationship so true
This is what I’m telling you.
