Sometimes life is hard
You feel like giving up
Like throwing it all away
You take the easy way out
And toss your future out the door
All because of one mistake
That caused everything to change
When the walls come falling down
Everything comes rushing in
Both God and evil alike
When the evil takes control
Your life seems to fall apart
The days are long and tough
The road is bumpy and rough
But the task must be done
You’ve got to pick yourself up
And start over again
Quitting isn’t the answer
Nor will it ever be
People out there care
Baby, can’t you see
That all the trials of life
Are there to help you strive
To help you pave a way
To make a better life.
