instrument
The mind
The creator
Painting seasons
All seeking reason
Voices and venues
To be heard and seen
Before we dive
Into the unmarked time
We swim in our minds
But pool our thoughts
Collectively exercising
What little authority we have
Over our on creativity
Born into causes
With barbed wired minds
With no rooms for hope
Seeking agreement
From minds sometimes
Diametrically opposed
But swim my brothers and sisters
In the sea of possibility
Swim in your mind
And make reason
Our common ground
