Brexit bill passes final stage

The Brexit bill passed on to the next stage Wednesday after passing through the British government’s House of Commons. The bill aims to ensure a smooth transition upon the country’s departure from the EU by incorporating European Union Law into British Law. Britain is set to leave the EU on March 29th, 2019 at 11:00 PM GMT. Attention now turns to the House of Lords which is expected to offer scrutiny of the bill as many of its members are in favor of remaining in the EU.
