Breivik trial nears end

Accused mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik prepares to hear the closing arguments in Norway's most anticipated trial since WWII.

On Thursday, the prosecution will announce whether it believes Breivik is criminally insane, which will affect sentencing.

But many aren't worried about his mental state -- they simply wants him locked away for good.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) LEADER OF JULY 22 SUPPORT GROUP, TROND BLATTMANN, SAYING:

"The most important thing is that he won't be let out in Norwegian society any more. He will be locked up in prison or in a psychiatric ward. Actually, for the support group, that is not important. The most important thing is that we don't see him anymore."

Breivik is charged with killing 77 people last July in a shooting spree in a youth camp and a bombing in the capital.

If declared sane, he could be sentenced to 21 years in jail.
