bree nada - broken art

beautiful piece of work is what the eye sees
but no one really knows the true meaning behind the piece
the broken dreams and shattered hopes that were spilled onto it
the eye see the beauty
the soul sees the broken art
you see my face and feel warm
but look into my eyes
and touch my heart
feel the rhythm of my broken heart
disappointed one too many times
wanting to forgive but still not able to forget
what i wouldn't give to forgive, to feel loved again
that beautiful piece of art work will never be understood
no one will ever look deep inside it and try to understand the hurt and disappointment it has had to deal with
it remains in its rightful place
where admirers will come and go
but never take the time to understand the meaning behind the cause.
no one will ever stop to look deep into my eyes and try to comprehend
for now and forever i shall remain broken art.
