Brazilian feminists protest abortion bill

Brazilian Feminist organizations demonstrated in front of Rio de Janeiro's Legislative Assembly to protest a bill of assistance for women seeking abortions. They say the bill aims to persuade women to not have abortions, rather than providing women with authentic counselling about the pros and cons of their situations and the different options available to them. Feminists claim the bill is an attack against their right to decide. If approved, the bill would represent a huge setback for women's rights in Brazil. teleSUR
