Brazil: Workers' Party calls mass demonstrations

Brazil's Workers' Party (PT) is calling a series of mass demonstrations throughout the country to be held through April 7. The ruling left-wing party is calling the mass mobilizations in response to recent right-wing agitation that many say is aimed at undermining the government and laying the basis for a coup as well as to commemorate the 51st anniversary of the US backed military coup d'etat, which imposed a repressive regime aligned with Washington. teleSUR
