Brazil blocks mining giants' assets after dam collapse

A judge in Brazil has frozen the assets of the mining giants BHP Billiton and Vale over the deadly collapse of a dam last month.
At least 17 people were killed when the dam burst in the south-eastern state of Minas Gerais, polluting rivers and destroying farmland over a vast area.
The dam was owned by their joint venture company, Samarco.
