I know night time and rainfall too
I know I am neither of these things
I know the sound of your sighs
Murmurs, croons, sounds, songs, laughter

I know what it means to be alive
I know hurricanes and bonfires
I know arms that wrap around me
I know those soft spots, and your hard spots too

My god, how I know you.
