Crippling darkness surrounds me, preventing me from a clear mind. like Windex i remove this cloud with fluid thinking. Breaths shortened, only my painful thoughts remain constant. Nimble fingers work hard and furiously to remove this noose etched with the word life on it from my throat. This noose cuts deeper than any cut made with a razor yet it works all the same. The stool beneath me holds me for as long I will it to. The final sounds i hear are the clang of metal from the stool and my outspoken gasps for air.
