I met a girl the other day
she pushed me off my course
and I slowly and methodically
fell for her
her eyes were fiercely piercing
and reminded me of live jazz
we danced all night
creating a storm
this is a lyrical verse
tragic in it’s nature
about a memory lane
in the end a cold shoulder
on a wet night
