Brandon Cabaniss - When I First See You

She enters the room Her eyes morose,
As She gazes the room for a host.

Only Poets word’s can describe Her gait,
“She walks in beauty. She walks in grace.”

Words need not replace
The beauty that is seen upon Her face.

For soliloquies fail;
And prose demeans.

So that in the end Only awe remains.
