i am alone in this place
thinking of the race
the race agianst life
agianst death
breathing in my last breath
i turn to look in the mirror
but see only the future
drawing nearer

my demise it seems
is everywhere i look
in my nightmares, in my dreams
my souls is snared on a hook
hanging on a thread
red as blood
the blood i shed

this future of mine is true
ive looked in the mirror
it is nothing new
my death just draws nearer
