: "If we know anything at our house, our cat Bram (short for Bramble, even shorter for Bramblepelt) hates our plants. She has killed and will kill again. She also has a distinct lack of respect for my authority, and loves to flagrantly disrespect me at any given opportunity. These two hobbies combined one afternoon when she continually ignored my attempts to stop her from committing plant murder and instead made unbroken eye contact with me as I screeched at her fruitlessly."
