Brajendra Nath Mishra - Dew Drops

Dew drops look like pearls
Sleeping on the grasses green.


I want to touch them with ??fingers,
I want to close them in my fist within.


Stars in the night come from the sky,
They spread them on earth around,
Gust of wind come, strokes,
Opened, uncover and dispersed.

Bathed in those droplets,
Trick - trick comes the dawn,
Falling on the leaves, brightening them,
Fill with life - juice everyone.


Apparently stayed drops on flowers,
Touch, kiss, dance,
Staying, tap - tap, was falling,
Carry away pollen with glance.


Come to the finger tip,
Should capture, taking away,
Ask a little bit of
Pearl from the sky.
