Boz Scaggs - Lowdown (1976)

Hey .. lookin' for Mr. Goodbar? Guess they were lookin' back in the Roaring 20's too! My fav Boz Scaggs tune, legendary pop dance hit Lowdown gets the silent treatment in this vintage montage. This one I'd definitely put on my Top Ten best disco hits ... it got a lot of requests back when I was doing the DJ thing, about as often as Gino Vannelli and Billy Joel songs were. So hang up those disco shoes and prepare to trip the light fantastic .. way way back and way way lowdown. Mr. Scaggs' first major hit eventually peaked at #2 in Canada and #3 in the US on the Billboard Pop Singles chart. However it reached #1 on Cash Box on October 2, 1976.
