Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian president, has sacked a senior interior minister in Ingushetia, after 20 people were killed by a powerful bomb there.
The target was apparently officers who were reporting for inspection. At least 60 other people were injured, and local hospitals struggled to cope as blood supplies ran out.
