Bolivia: Coca Growers Back Third Term for Morales

Six federations of coca growers from the tropics of Cochabamba have given their full support to President Evo Morales if he runs for re-election in 2019. Morales enjoys widespread support among those who are not willing to return to a neoliberal regime. Bolivian lawmakers approved a bill last month to change the Constitution in order to allow Morales to run for re-election once again and stay in office until 2025. The constitutional change will be put to a national referendum in order to be ratified. teleSUR
