Bobbi Lee - A Sign from Bonnie

I lay on your bench today looking up at the endless blue sky.
Not a cloud in sight, I couldn't pretend that you were drifting by.
No rainbow appeared, like early one dawn, sent to remind me I wasn't alone.
No ladybug flew down and landed on me to let me know you were watching.
I needed a sign, my faith is so weak, I think I listen but I can't
hear God speak.
I was gazing blankly, lost in my grief, when I heard a bird call out.
Soaring above me, just riding the drafts, was a beautiful hawk,
strong and graceful and free.
There was my sign, but I had to look up before I could see.
