With nothing special to say
I spend time with pen and paper.
Opportunity has risen
to somehow fill in 2 hours of time.
No great or sudden urge
to express a thought or feeling.
No unexpected event
to keep alive in written word.
Just the need
to pass some time
in a productive manner.
No need to write
to stay in written tune.
The best words and phrases
come as needed
at spur of the moment
or unexpected times.
No need to write
about having nothing to say.
But, wait,
isn’t that what I just did?
