Blue Moonlight - Afternoons

Arrangements of life's lost commodities,

Further buried under absurdities.

Tender efforts at pushing them away,

Envelope me with things to do today.

Refinements of a coarse reality,

Never will I seek practicality.

Obsolete hopes keep my feet on the ground.

On tightly gripped hands, I keep what I've found.

New beginnings start with the last endings.

Sunset marks the process of hearts mending.
