Blue Bird - the depths

the depths of my soul
is too deep to know
like the ocean
with unexplored floors
so hard
to find that one door
without a care
who's out there
unknown
on what lies below
i keep to myself
with no one to tell
the hidden holes deep inside
on how a smile
can hide a lie
the walls too high
for me to climb
no holes for me
to try to crawl inside
a secret
my body keeps well
unready for me
to find out what to tell
the strangest ways
we mentally subside
the painful thoughts
inside our minds
walls of bricks
thick in size
do their best
to hide the the lies.
